Bye Bye Diapers!!!

Potty training 101 began the 4th of July weekend. I went and got me all the supplies and Friday after getting home from work, we put on the big boy pants! We got all kinds of Cars and Toys Story and even Thomas the train underoos! They are the smallest size they come in and they are dang cute! For every potty he went or even an attempt, he got a piece of candy.
We had a couple of accidents the first few hours, but nothing major. That night I put a pull up on Jayden and tucked him in. Saturday was hit and miss. Litterally! No accidents Sunday or Monday!
We decided to take down his crib and put his mattress on the floor tell we get him a twin size mattress. I figured it was confusing to say ok don't pee your pants during the day but it's ok to pee them at night. Didn't know if it would work for sure but it did. It's almost been a month and I've only had to change maybe 3 wet beds! Go Jayden! But, since we took his crib down he comes strolling in our room between 3-4am. I can't believe how fast he has caught on to the whole new process. He tells us when he has to go and even goes number 2! Which that only took about a week to get down. The first time he went in the toilet he got a little toy. That was a major hit!
We let him go potty number 1 (lol) outside...but he prefers to go on the toilet and sit down. Now we just have to master standing up to go potty and wipe'n ourselves of course. No rush just glad to say bye bye to diapers! YESSS! Here's a photo from the 4th and our potty trainer on the pot! Yep he's eating while peeing! Hey, whatever makes them happy right!? heehee
