Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!

This year it felt like it came and went...I can't believe how fast! I barely got any baking done before it was all over with. I am so very blessed. This year I really felt the warmth and love of my family and the true meaning of Christmas. I am so thankful for what I have and I hope all of you had a great holiday as well~

Getting our tree; we go to the same place every year -

Jayden is a good lil helper!

Smelling the tree~

We got to enjoy family I haven't seen in awhile at my cousin Marti's house on the 23rd. We played a gift exchange game this time and it made it super fun! Good food and spirits.

Christmas Eve we had family over. Sung Christmas songs, karaoke and waited up for Santa!

Even Santa came for a visit! lol

Jayden's new Imaginarium Train set is awesome! He loves it so much...

Time to Clean (I wish that thing really worked). He loves this, he will push it around and around! he says vah - coom!

Camping

Finally, we got a camping trip in this year! One weekend at the ocean. We stayed at my Aunt Dee's little community down near Ocean Shores. Love it there. The weather was awesome. Nothing but the best with my family. We all had such an amazing time and I didn't want to come home!

Here's Jayden feeding Bubba all the Funyuns...we wondered where they all went...

Jayden was taking a nap, so he didn't get his pic taken :( bummer that

Our awesome sand castle!

Summer

This summer has definatley gone by fast....I can't believe it's already the end of July!

I can't really remember June - but I do know that we moved. We are now settling in our new house that is twice the size of our old house. We love it there.

Father's day weekend we went to the airshow at the Olympia airport. First time I've ever been. Jayden was so excited, he loves airplanes. The big ones, scared me and Jayden cried a time or two. They were so loud they'd vibrate the ground.

4th; We spent the forth at home this year. We went to the fireworks on the 3rd that they have by Sears. I didn't think Jayden would last tell after 10 but he did. And he really liked the fireworks. We went to the Tumwater parade the day of the 4th. That was exciting. Jayden's favorite was of course the motorcyles. My favorite was the free pop corn! ha, I was starving! James and I thought it was funny that we lived in Tumwater right off the main drag of the parade and not once did we ever watch it. Now that we moved - we come back to see it. Later that evening we went to Lisa and Petee's house for a little bbq/gathering. Lots of good friends and good eats there.

We also went to the hands on children's muesuem. First time I'd ever been there. We had a great time! They have so many things for the kids to do there.

My friend, Jess, is having a baby next month. So, Lisa and I gave her a shower to welcome in the new baby girl. No name picked yet! It was a great turn out. The theme was yellow and white and we served banana-splits. OMG! It was so yummy!!!!

Jayden has been really into cars, boats, airplanes, motorcycles, trucks, LAWNMOWER! Basically, anything with a motor! He goes around making a motor sound. Last night I found him putting hot dogs and cauliflower in his hair instead of his mouth at dinner. And smooshed into his hair not just sitting there. And on top of all of the food was.....his spoon. He cracks me up! He's also been doing this thing lately with his eyes. Sometimes, he look at you and give you a few dramatic blinks, sometimes it's a blink and then look up and over almost like he's rolling his eyes. And my favorite the "whatchu talking bout Willis" look. The one where his head is leaning forward and he's looking through his eyebrows! Can you say...attitude? lol oh brother!

Last weekend we had a huge bbq at our house. We have one every year come Lakefair. But, this time we decided not to even go down town. It was the first year that I have not attended Lakefair...not even for a bite. I am sad now that I didn't get to eat an elephant ear :( boo! We had a bean bag/cornhole tournament, so much food and tons of fun. Not to mention that the weather was beautiful. The morning after our house and yard looked like someone had barfed "too much fun"! lol needless to say it was an easy clean up. We counted a round estimate of 57 adults and 17 kids. HOLY SMOKES!

This weekend we are doing NOTHING! lol...getting ready for my besty, Alicia, and her family to come visit next week. I can not wait to see her little munchkins. Everything is up in the air - the only thing planned is golf and the Great Wolf Lodge! Can't beat that...

stay tuned for photo updates :)

So much...

There has been so much going on in the past month. We celebrated Jayden's first Birthday. We had a party for him at our house with friends and family. It was a great day. Jayden was just starting to walk and take a few steps and I swear on his birthday he was officially walking everywhere! He really liked his cake too!

Mother's day was spent shopping with my mommy and pizza ordered in for dinner. It was very relaxing and nothing over the top - it was perfect.

James and I went to Vegas and got married (finally). It was the quickest wedding in my book. We flew in on May 20th at 10:30am, went to the licensing department picked up our certificate, took a dip in the pool at the Planet Hollywood Casino Hotel, got ready, married at 6pm. Dinner at PF Changs and then off to our reception on wheels!

We kept a surprise from our guests. It was a grey hound bus converted into a party bus. It had about 6 tv's, lights, bathroom, 2 stripper poles, mirrors, fridge, microwave, sink, cd and dvd players - it was bump'n! lol We took it to the liqour store and danced the night away. It was one of the best times in my life! Thank you all who followed to Vegas to share our special day~

We saw Holly Madison, she was staying at our hotel. And she was doing an interview at the Sugar shop in the mall. She is very pretty.

We ate at the famous Pink's hot dogs. Very different but delicious. Our hotel room was fabulous. My new father and mother in law upgraded our room to a view of the Bellegio fountain. Although, when we arrived the room was occupied. So, we upgraded agian to another room - same view. It had 4 different walk through areas, the entry way, the bedroom, a room with a sink and a long counter and then bathroom, 2 46'flat screen tv's and 4 giant windows. It was one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in.

People keep asking me if I feel different. I only feel more love and committment. We have been together for almost 8 years now. So, I'd say we knew each other pretty well! lol The cool thing now is I have the same last name as James and Jayden. It's going to take some time to get used to writting Shannon Stacy.

We also went to a Prince imperssonator show. haha... He was awesome. It was at Hooters. He looked like him, sung like him, danced like him - if I hadn't of known it wasn't him - I would have thought it was!

We arrived back in T'town on Saturday (Jayden stayed with his Gma Beth) to find out we have to move. So, lucky us we have a few weeks to find something and start packing~ erg...welcome home Mr. and Mrs. Stacy! :)

The ZOOOOOOOOOO!

I haven't been to Point Defiance in such a long time. It was great taking Jayden for his first time. My niece, Taryn, and my mom went along too. It was a pretty nice day out. Jayden liked that Aquarium the best.

The Walrus was cool. He would swim right up agianst the glass. It was kinda freaky. They are HUGE! There must have been about 20 people viewing this walrus swimming when he did his famous "too close" glass spin and then BAM - diarrhea cha cha cha...OH man it was so gross. The blue water turned brown! Everyone at the same time said...EWHHH...it was pretty funny I have to admit! That Walrus sure knew how to clear the room lol.

I think this lil guy was getting lunch - he was pacing the fence

Me and Taryn....

Grandma was ready to go~ lol
