Sorry it's been awhile since my last posting.
Jayden Myles Stacy was born April 30th at 9:48am (which is also my mothers birthday! :)). It was a scheduled c-section. He was too large to fit through for a vaginal delivery, so they had to do one. I was very nervous but excited at the same time.
So, I went into the O.R. around 9:20ish...they got me set up with the epidural - such a wierd feeling not to move your body. And away went the surgery. James held my hand as they prepared to get little Jayden out. I swear it was not but 10 minutes and I heard him let out a loud cry. They wisked him away to do all the vitals and the nurse came back in and said 10 07 and for a second I thought she was telling my doctor the time oh no that's how much little Jayden weighed! Ten pounds and seven ounces. He bacame known as the "tank" while I stayed at the hospital. Even though he weighed 10lbs he didn't really look like he did to me.
I stayed 2 nights in the hospital and then I asked if I could go home. They would have liked me to stay 3 nights I guess. But, they let me go.
He's a super good baby. I haven't any complaints - I've been home now since Saturday and everything has been going great. James is a super Dad. He's changed litterally almost every diaper. I can't believe how much he has taking care of us the past few days. We actualy fight over who gets to do what next with him. At least for now since I'm breast feeding he can't get that one on me!lol No, I absolutely love being a mom it's the best thing that has ever happened to me and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I can't believe two people can create such an amazing little life.
