Valentines day

Valentines day is our least favorite - A forgotten holiday. So, this year we decided to have a Valentines day get to gether. Must wear red. It was fun. Almost everyone showed up in red or wore something with red in it.

I made fondue for the first time - chocolate. We dipped strawberries, graham crackers, pink heart shaped marshmellows and brownies...mmmm yum. I also made mini cupcakes and put them on display on a cupcake stand - I don't know how many times people asked if they were real and if they could eat one! :) lol Good food, good drinks and good friends - it was a great time. I didn't last much past midnight. Just can't stay up late anymore. I "heard" we had a dance off in the garage! Too bad I couldn't have stayed up for that!

Jayden stayed the night at Grandma Mary's for the first time. He did great. I was fine all night tell bed time. I was sad. But, it felt great to sleep in! Grandma Mary got Jayden a red heart balloon. He loved it so much. I've never seen his mouth open so wide with enjoyment. I got him a little monkey toy and he didn't think it was as cool as the balloon - so now it's Bubba's toy. Jayden likes to take the monkey and toss it like we do but he can't throw very far - at least he tries, it's so cute! They will be best friends before we know it!

Hope everyone had a great Valentines day! xox

Swing!

We drove around all day to find a park that had a "baby" swing for Jayden. About 45 minutes and 4 parks we finally found one. Jayden LOVES swinging! I can't believe how fast he's growing. He finally said "momma" but his version is more like, "mmm...mum...mumma". I love to hear him say it. We are going to be taking him in soon for some photos. It's been 6 months since the last ones so he's due. 9 months sure came fast! He started crawling a few weeks ago and I swear he gets faster and faster each day! We have moved a lot of things so he is safe. He likes to stick anything in his mouth even if it's dirt! haha You gotta keep your eye on him constantly. :)
