Live life to the fullest

This weekend my neices's best friend past away texting while driving. It's such a tragedy that something so simple took her life, if she'd only been paying attention. Not cancer, not a heart attack...texting of all things! She was only 22 years old. She ran her car right through an intersection through a highway and hit head on into a box truck. The driver of that vehicle wasn't harmed. She died instantly.

This is too close to home for me as I have been at fault of the texting and driving myself. I am giving oath and making sure this never happens agian.

I've been really emotional when it comes to "death" lately so I wanted to just write and say a few things. This makes me think about life, as you do when anyone passes, that life is too short. It brings a tear to my eye when I think about losing someone close to me. I am fortunate to have all my friends and family still with me, minus my grandmas/grandpas. I understand that we all have a path or plan and when it's your time it's your time. I think that is what scares me because one day you are here and the next you may not. I can't help to think every time my husband, friend, mother, etc leaves me that I may never see them agian..it's just so innocent and really...you never know. I am forever greatful to all. I love my life and everthing in it, even when my husband drinks out of the milk carton when I tell him not to! :) So, live your life to the fullest. Don't hold grudges, love as much as you can, laugh AND CRY as much as you can, take chances and when you seem to be down just remember everything gets better - and never never never text while driving.

UW Photos Shoot - PART II

This second shoot was just of James and I. We are not serious types of people, people who know us can agree with that, so some of these shots were painfull...in a good way! lol

University of WA photo shoot - August 2010 PART I

So for James and I's engagement - our friends got together and bought us a professional photo session with Tana Huffman. She is the sweetest, talented, very patient photographer I know! I absolutely had the best time doing our photo shoot with her and she made us feel like movie stars! ;) My idea was to have Jayden in a few shots and she asked about a location, what we like to do blah blah...and I told her that James is obsessed with the Husky football team lol so long story short...(see below) :) I can't post all of them there are way too many but here are some of our favorites...
